The previous owner started a Restoration, had the frame, swingarm, Earls Fork assembly,  center stand & Battery box powder coated. He then ran into health issues and could not complete the project. We have too many projects already, and get numerous calls looking for this model, so decided to let it go to somebody else.

Matching VIN numbers. Clear Title. Beautiful original aluminum rims with raised flat edges. Includes OE BMW Tool Kit. Choice of Narrow or Wide dual seats; or both! Steiger Solo Seat available.

All body parts have been sanded to bare metal, and now have a coat of primer to protect them and prevent rust. There are no noticeable dents. There are some very minor surface ripples as is common on undamaged Vintage metalwork.

We shined a light down inside the fuel tank; there is some primer overspray on the top of the tunnel, and all the original dark red liner that we could see was in near perfect condition, but due to the angles we could not get a good photo with our camera.

The ignition & charging systems are complete on the front of the motor; it is a 6V system.

The engine kicks over properly, and the compression checked out at 135 pounds RH, and 145 pounds LH. There is no evidence of any repair or rebuild work to the engine.

The transmission likewise has no evidence of repair or rebuild work. It shifts easily and properly up and down through the gears.

All the BMW model specific specialty hardware appears to be present. There is some assorted bolts, nuts, and washers, but we can’t guarantee that is complete; you may need a few pieces, or possibly want to buy a stainless hardware set to complete the bike nicely.
