300382 1973 Norton Commando 850. Clean & Beautiful! Running well, partial restoration. Original paint. vLess than 15,000 MILES!
We bought 2 Penski truckloads of 1970s Airheads, and got this BEAUTIFUL NORTON with them. We have only cleaned the bike and cleaned out fuel tank.
Starts easily, runs well, rides nicely, VERY striking!
Original paint good + with several minor slightly rough areas showing slight age. Still, VERY nice patina. Smallish area of old amateur touch-up on right battery cover.
A large box of old and new spares is included.
Good Tires, NEW Mufflers, will have new battery when sold.
Fork needs service & new rubber sliding caps before any long range riding.
It's obvious the previous owner was changing out some parts showing rust, and generally upgrading the bike.
We have posted 3 videos of a cold start and of start and ride away through all the gears, on Picturepush.com.
If you would like to watch the videos or view our full photo set of this BEAUTIFUL Vintage Norton, please copy the web address below into your browser search bar: (This is NOT a link to click on!) to take you to our high resolution photo site on www.picturepush.com:
Click on one of the thumbnail photos on the left to see it larger on the right. Then click on the larger photo on the right to see it in a full screen pop-up window. Then scroll down to the bottom right and click on the word “Full”. This blows it up to maximum size (about 6 times window size) and you can use the scroll bars to move around your view point like your eye is 2 feet from the bike.
